The Association works with and for visually impaired people throughout Northumberland. The Centre has a fully equipped training kitchen, a comprehensive exhibition of low vision aids, daily living equipment and examples of computer accessibility software. Book a one to one demonstration of products and assistive technologies at the centre.
Services include:
- Outreach information and advice with drop-in centre and telephone helpline
- Quarterly newsletter

- Technology Peer Support group
- Clubs, activities, self help groups, shopping trips and social outings
- Home visiting service
- Transport assistance: volunteer visitors can provide transport to hospital appointments or visits to clubs (there is a small charge for this)
- Telephone counselling service for six to ten sessions
