The hospital provides treatment for eye conditions in its Ophthalmology Department. Sight Action (Havering ) run a Sight Support Service at the Eye Clinic where patients are welcome to drop in for advice and information. They are able to provide patients and their carers with information and advice relating to living with sight loss; they also have a small range of equipment to demonstrate and can signpost you to appropriate local and national services or agencies.
Some of the volunteers are visually impaired meaning they able to empathise with patients attending the eye clinic.
