The Trust provides Christian fellowship and literature for visually impaired people. Literature is produced in braille, large print (sizes 17pt, 20pt, 25pt & 30pt) and recorded on audio CD, USB and in DAISY format. It is circulated world-wide in the form of magazines, books and booklets and also from a free lending library service which caters for all ages.
There are 120 Torch Fellowship Groups throughout the British Isles. These groups are centres from which literature and assistance are available. They also hold monthly gatherings of sighted, blind and partially sighted people.
The Torch Holiday and Retreat Centre, in Sussex, runs a wide range of holidays, retreats and house parties. It is available to individuals with or without a sighted guide, and to groups.
Torch produces a weekly radio programme, Reflections, broadcast on Insight Radio and Premier Christian Radio.
