The Eye Clinic Liaison Service is here to help families in any way we can, from advice about your child’s first appointment to discussing with you what you have been told by your consultant about your child’s eye condition, and the implications that this may have on your child’s general development. We are also here to offer advice about your child’s education when your child has very low vision.
We can advise on:

The Certificate for Visual Impairment (CVI)
Referrals to Visual Impairment Teams
Reports for the school and nursery
Family support groups both locally and nationally
Specialised equipment and technology
Daily living skills and developing independence
