Blind Veterans UK Brighton centre
Map for Blind Veterans UK Brighton centre
Visually-impaired veterans can visit the centre for an assessment. During an introductory week they carefully assess each person's vision impairment and discuss ways to help.
Members can also revisit the Brighton centre for holidays, respite, residential and nursing care. They also help with fitness and mobility, to give veterans with sight loss the skills they need to live an independent life.
The Brighton centre has all the facilities blind veterans need, including an IT suite, art and craft workshop, gym, swimming pool and other sports and recreation facilities.
Most of the 85 bedrooms are for short-term visitors, but some are permanent homes for people who need the support, comfort and security of a nursing and residential care home.
